Dark golden in the glass, fine foamy white head. Musty nose. Taste more malty, grainy, light alcoholic. Later light malty, pleasant bocksweetness but a little bit metallic. To the end like a bitter Weissbier with banana and chewing gum. Average maibock.

50 cl flip top bottle from De Bierkoning. Not the first time I had this, but I couldn’t remember....Nice clear golden color, non lasting white head. Faintly herbal aroma, malty, with grassy hops and some fruit. Flavor is malty sweet & grassy, not too sweet. Mild bitter finish. Another fine German Maibock.

The bottle looks very simple, but good. The beer in the glass is very zippy, huge head for a bock. Starts very strong and spicy, a bit grasy-earthy, modest alcoholic. Finish a little bit dry, still strong and spicy. Quite drinkable, really good!

Bottle. Slightly hazy deep golden color with a big stable white head. Aroma of herbal hops, malt, caramel notes, light graininess and a bit of alcohol. Sweet honey-ish malt flavor, some bread and a drier, quite bitter, somewhat herbal finish with some slightly peppry alcohol. Medium-bodied. Decent.
