Ever so slightly hazy golden and crisp orange coloured body with a two to three centimetre tall off-white and tan head awith a nice raw honey glow, about eighty per cent opaque. Aroma of oranges, tangerines, flowers, honey, crisp grapefruit and a dose of caster sugar with some alcohol noticeable. Medium-bodied; Strong rich malts, honey and grass all show at first with some bitter grapefruit and oranges, but the malt and sweetness shows perhaps a bit more than any of the citrus fruits. Aftertaste shows some rich malts with a good dry, floral and slightly grassy flavours and then closer to the end comes the more rich fruits such as melons, tangerines, oranges and even some mango notes finish this off. Overall, a deep, very structured and soft Imperial IPA that shows a rich body with some creamy-ish fruit notes, but a lot of sweetness and only a touch of alcohol noticeable - quite easy drinking, however and nice for the seasons, especially drinking SUPER fresh - not an amazing beer, but not bad either! Great around Christmas, obviously, due to the can and the name! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Bread & Honey in New York (8th Ave @ 56th Street), New York on 20-December-2020 for US$5,49, canned just one week earlier on 13-December-2020, sampled just over two weeks later at my house back here in Washington on 13-January-2021.
