The beer starts sweetish and highly drinkable. A bit flat in aroma, slightly grainy-sweetish. The mainpart is Festbier-typical. Slightly sweet, no real aroma, slightly malty. The aftertaste is smooth, grainy-sweetish and highly drinkable.

A bright gold body with a lot of white carbonation bubbles. The head is thin but foamy and there is a lot of lace at first but it dies down very quick. The aroma is grassy with some fruity tone. Seems to more like a regular bock like flavor than a Marzen as it is being labeled here. Very different than what you might be used to in a Holiday beer.

50 cl bottle @ oh6gdx, BBE 08.07.2013
Aroma is rather malty with butter and some herbal notes. Flavour has herbal notes, some butter, malty notes and hints of spices. Hints of alcohol comes through, maybe past its prime? Closer to helles than märzen.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts not as strong as exspected, malty, modest sourish. More and more dry. Finish quite balanced, quite drinkable. Could be more spicy, but okay.
