Malt and butter in aroma and flavor. Medium to full bodied. Hint of metal, especailly showing itself in the aftertaste. One of the better Dortmunder beers IMO.

Old 50cl bottle courtesy of Erzengel! A clear deep golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of dry spicy hops, pale malt and straw. taste of sweet grainy malt, straw, bread, low bitterness.

Test Stifts Pils gegen Export. Das Export ist einen Tick dunkler als das Pils aus gleichem Hause, aber immernoch recht hellgelb. Der Antrunk ist weich, würzig-mild. Zum Hauptteil kommt eine leichte Süße. Im Gegensatz zum Pils ist die Herbe noch weniger ausgeprägt, dafür dominiert die malzige Süße, die aber trotzdem sehr dezent bleibt und nicht störend wirkt. Der Nachgeschmack ist Export-typisch weich-mild, leicht karamellig, verhalten herb, sehr schön sortentypisch.

Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit and malt. Flavour is sweet and grain. A little bit boring.

Bottled. A light golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with ntoes of hay and malt, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass very zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, more and more hoppy-dry, fine spicy. Well balanced finish, quite drinkable. Really nice!

Das Bier startet typisch herb, diese herbe ist von der Intensität her durchweg fast gleich. Deutliche malzige und auch süße Aromen kommen im Mittelteil hinzu. Der Nachgeschmack ist leicht bitter und durchaus exporttypisch, wobei dieser etwas trocken wirkt. Exporte gefallen mir meist nicht, dieses ist eine positive Ausnahme. 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is cornish to malty. Malty, grassy and vague butterish. Bitter and dry cornish into the finish.

Bottle. clear golden, big fluffy lacing head. Fresh crisp hoppy nose. fairly light body, overlaid by dry bitterness. light refreshing drink.
