"Watzdorfer Schwarzbier", Fläschchen aus Thüringen, 18.7.2025 u. 28.8.2025. - Tiefdunkel, fast schwarz. - In der Nase kräftiges aber aromatisch dünnes Röstmalz, Anklänge an Cola, Zuckersüße, unscheinbare Hopfung. - Im Antrunk fein säuerlich und kräftig röstmalzig aber ohne feinere Aromen, Mokka und Bitterschokolade sind nur in Ansätzen erkennbar. Durchschnittlich rezent. Im Abgang kräftig röstmalzbitter und banal krautig hopfenherb. - Tatsächlich "betont röstmalzaromatisch" aber von simpler Aromatik, fast ruppig.

Very dark color, no head. Caramel aroma. Not too sweet, caramelly flavor. Some licorice. Rather thin beer with hardly any lace. Very drinkable session schwarz.

Bottle @ Dolles Bockstival - Bocken varer lige til påske, 5000 Odense C. Pours black with a small creamy head. Chocolate, vague roast, caramel and bread. Smooth. Nice.

Bocken varer lige til påske. Dark brown with a small off-white head. Malty aroma of toffee and biscuit with a roasted note. Sweet malty flavour with a roasted touch in the finish.

Bottle from Kaufland, Jena. Almost black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dark sugar and roasted malt. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted light bitter finish. 150216

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, caramel, nuts and hops. Sweet caramel finish with some bitterness too.
