Our latest hazy IPA is named after Aegir, the divine personification of the sea in Old Norse mythology, who was known to brew huge vats of ale for meetings of the gods. We made this juicy, fragrant IPA with a fruity strain of Norwegian farmhouse kveik yeast, along with Sabro, Vic Secret, and Mosaic hops to add notes of passionfruit, strone fruit, and mango.

Panda, courtesy of SHIG and Colin.... and Ferg, pours with a dirty opaque gold to slightly copper colored body that supports a white head of foam. The aroma offers up tangerine, peach, a bit of pineapple and then a growing murmur of a berry or grape like sensation. The taste delivers juiciness edge with a thin ring of soft tropical notes. I get tangy and modestly bitter berry to vaguely grape flowing into orang juice and increasing amounts of green lime hop bitterness. This works pretty well.

Can at SHIG place tasting, picked Bottle Box Norfolk, 16/04/23. Hazed yellow orange with a white cap that thins edgewards. Nose is ripe citrc flesh, pine resin, grass, pineapple, faint lime, Taste comprises orange pith, Sabro, grass, coconut, raw pineapple, pine nip. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with resinous Sabro driven hop bitterness. Solid,

Can shared at shigs place in Newport news Virginia. Many thanks to Colin for this one. A hazed creamy yeloow coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet, creamy orange,milky coconut, white grape. Flavour is composed of semi sweet creamy Sabro,, white grape, jelly, white pithy, oily, moderate carbonation.

Can shared thanks to Cloin: Poured a bright white yellow with a white head. Aroma is fresh hops, coconut, fruity, passionfruit, juicy. Taste is juicy fruity, hoppy, coconut, tropical, passionfruit, light acidic, juicy and lively.

Pint can, WW. Murky gold with a soft off-white head. Juicy orange, cat piss, pine, tropical fruit nose. Flavor is grapefruit, tart mango, green hops, light hose. A little earthy, probably from the yeast. Nice.
