NULL EILE. Denn was lange gärt, wird richtig gut.

Bottle. Pours a clear, golden body with a small off-white head. Fruity aroma with a sweetish grainy touch. Some caramel too. Sweet caramel flavor with slightly roasted malt and a fruityness. Some bitterness, but not much. Fruity and sweet finish with some bitterness. Medium body. Sure drinkable, but boring. Wouldn’t be a problem downing a few, but I doubt it’s going to happen. (080828)

A terrible suspicion. Is this beer the same as St. Gothardus Spezial? I think so. I tested both beers at succesive days and they taste really the same. Like a bockbier, very drinkable. Good beer!

Test vom 28.11.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,5,5,5,8,5 - 5,35

Bottled. Clear amber, small head. Aroma of bready malt. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Very light touch of caramel, but lacking severely in character. Solid, but very boring.

Pours a golden colour with some carbonation and a thick white head. A faintly sweet aroma, and a sweet malty taste. Fairly ordinary.
