Got this from the dollar rack at JR's. I drank this right from the can and I guess its hazy pale with an ever so slight orange tint as stated in other ratings below. I cannot give the time of day, nor waste a glass on another IPA. Before I even start to guzzle this, I was hoping for something a little more kick ass than just 5%. Pop the lid and smell is sweet hop perfume, something like the nectar of a friendly flower. Taste? Well, I was expecting something a little more bitter. Yes, it is definitely in the IPA range, with its lasting bitter bite, but I feel a little bit of something; a little more friendly, must have been the hard day at work, just saying. That probably biased my taste buds a little: They were just glad to get some beer after an 8 hour work day. Just saying. Yea, I think that's it. The can says it has craples hops and that's just what hops do, add a bit of crap to the taste and its evident here. Oh well, there you have it, another one of a billion IPA out there, just not quite as insulting as most. BTW, it does have some decent co2 in there, helps to detract from the bitter craples bite.

12oz can. Hazy orange tan body. Tettnang is an interesting, unique hop addition for the style. Pleasant hop depth. Medium bodied, easy drinking. Good.

6 week old can A: Poured gently to a 1/2 head with decent retention atop a bright but very hazy pale orange body. Spotty lace. S: Sweet tropical fruit nose features lots of citrus and peach notes. T: Dry and pretty bitter with citrus pith and grapefruit pulp. Pine follows. Low sweetness but some crackery malt provide balance. M: Medium light with average carbonation, smooth texture and fairly clean wet finish. O: Sweet nose but bitter taste. Engaging. Nice enough to buy again.
