Porter / 7% / A robust porter, a bit bolder & a tad sweeter than a baltic porter. Drinks with a light-medium body & offers rich notes of big chocolate, caramel, toffee, with a bit of roasted malt.

Tap at Dumbo. Deep brown pour with a tan head. Nose is light coffee, more toffee, chocolate and nuts. Taste is moderately roasty, otherwise pleasantly sweet, nutty, fruity, chocolatey. It’s got a bigish body, soft carbonation and a hint of bitterness. Hit the spot for me.

Black beer, tan head. Smell has toasty malt and a little sweet chocolate. Flavour has toasty malt again, dark chocolate, a little sugar, a little toffee. Rich, hearty, nicely balanced. Very good.
