Based on the original Celis Pale Bock as developed by Pierre Celis in the Celis Brewery in Austin, Texas; Van Steenberge managed to obtain the right to brew the Celis brand in Belgium and distribute it everywhere except for the United States, so this entry only relates to the Van Steenberge-brewed version.

Slightly fruity bitter aroma. Red amber, creamy head.Full mouthfeel. Some estery notes and fruit (peaches) which dwindles too quickly.

This tastes the same as the one brewed by Miller or Celis or whatever. Bad rotten smell, burnt caramel could be. Looks very good, thick lasting head, orange-red color. Taste is somewhat sweet, bit malty maybe. Doesn't taste like a bock actually.
