Golden color. Oak, cabbage and hoparoma. Sherry-like flavor. Oak, sharp hoppy flavor. Cardboard. I guess this beer has oxidated, but in fact it is still drinkable. The carbon is still there. Re-rate: fresher sample. UDRG 08-04-05: Creamy malty aroma with just a bit of hops. Malty flavor, with also a modest amount of hop character. Thin to medium bodied. A touch of apple. Fairly clean palate. Quite OK.

So-called ’historical’ beer which was brewed for the king of Sweden in 1631, but we all know beers in those days were never bottom-fermented and pale at the same time. Anyway, this one had a light yellowish, thin and unstable head and deep ’old gold’ colour, clear. Rather neutral aroma with primarily caramelly malt sweetness and some faint hints of vanilla, iron and aromatic hops. Pure malt sweetish taste, otherwise neutral and even a bit watery, simple, with a brief and floral hint of hop bitterishness in the finish.

Drought. Pale yellow with white foamy small head, doughy aroma, slightly sweet hops taste, fizzy with longish finish. Enjoyed it well.

Bottle - Thanks to Sebastian (DerDoppelbock) for trading.
Golden, sparkling body. Off-white head. Nose of hops, liquor: fine aroma, quite complex. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter flavour. Pleasant flavour, easily drinkable. Nice beer.

(swing top bottle) Clear golden colour with a big foamy white head, slowly lacing. Corny malty aroma with traces of hops and vegetables. Sweetmalty taste and a short slightly hopbitter and almost sticky finish.
