Bottled as Het Bosscke Bier. An unclear orange-brown beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt and spices. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of spices, leading to a dry spicy finish. The body is light.

Bottle, 7.5%. Distinct baking yeast aroma. Hazy brown colour. Small head. The flavour is very malty, slightly spicy, probably from the hops. Distinct baking yeast flavour, reminding me of homebrew. Would have been good without the yeast.
Earlier Rating: 12/19/2008 Total Score: 2.8
Bottle, 7.5%. Very weak raisin aroma. Hazy dark brown colour. The flavour starts off citric, turns malty and then slightly metallic. A little sweet with a rough malt finish.

Rerate Aug 31, 2004: I sampled some of skortila's bottle. Cloudy brown color, short brown head. Aroma of roasted and caramel malts. Taste is also quite malty, some licorice. Certainly not a bad beer, and my original rating of 1.2 is going up to a reasonable mark. Apr 4, 2004: Cloudy brown color, no head at all. The bottle didn't open with a classic 'ssh', so i have my doubts on this bottle, possibly infected. Aroma of peach and prune, some sweet caramel malts, sour yeast. Taste is sour yeast, glue, sour milky lactic prune. Horrible palate.
