Bottle shared by explosivedog: pours reddish with white head. Aroma is caramel, light earthiness. Taste is a bit bitter, malty, low sweetness. Fine.

Bottle, courtesy of Anna. Pours copper. Biscuit, hedgerow, very floral, blackberry, lightly spicy. Medium body. Really good.

500ml bottle. Clear copper appearance, modest amount of off white froth atop. Gently sweet nose. Taste is noticeably sweet, a little sugary, some fruity caramel malt notes.. The lightest off flavour, not really oxidised but close to it. Not too off putting and the sweetness retains a strong appeal. Nice Welsh ale.
