Here at T&C, we love the idea of Après Ski. Whether you're heading out west, squeezing ten friends into a tiny cabin in Vermont, or spending the day carving through the snow (read: slush) of the NYC streets, nothing beats a cold beer after a day of snow. Grab an Après, get warm, and drink up.

Deep ruby and almost brown coloured body with a thinnish, single to at most two centimetre tall tan head that fades pretty quickly and is quite large-bubbled. Aroma of nuts, some earthy and rustic malts along with a good deal of caramelised sugars and toffee with a deeper English hop note here, but very malty and nutty in the nose. Medium-bodied; Pretty strong caramelised sugar and toffee flavours show at first with a dash of molasses and grains from the malt, but relatively smooth and only offering a glimse of the European hops with low alpha acids. Aftertaste shows some nuts, a good deal of malt and a dash of flowers here, but the crisp hops do make a showing towards the end, but they end up being a bit drier and showing some actual bitterness here, in a good way. Overall, a pretty nice, relatively complex and robust, malt-forward (but not forgetting the hops) IPA that shows a good caramelised sugar and toasty flavour, but is still hoppy and propped up by the malts. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in New York (NoMad, 28th Street), New York on 02-December-2022 for US$3,99 sampled on the streets of New York with my family at Christmastime on 03-December-2022.

Pint can, WW. Pours a hazy beautiful burnt orange with a soft off-white head. Nose is red fruit, persimmon, orange peel, caramel malt. Toasted malt, faint orange, hints of ginger. God flavor. Enjoyable.
