This first beer in what we hope will become a new series is our attempt to make the ultimate refreshing, drinkable IPA. The finest German Pils malt and our favorite peachy New England IPA yeast combine with Amarillo and Strata hops to make an effervescent juice bomb with tons of grapefruit and tropical fruit plus just the right amount of balancing dankness.

Pint can pours with an opaque slightly glowing dull gold to white paper colored body that supports a modest white head of foam. The aroma offers up tangelo, peach, a dash of tangerine and then a sliver of berry like notes. The taste delivers both smooth soft and juicy as well as tangy and bitter citrusy and tropical hoppy goodness. I get tangelo, peach, bitter grapefruit and then a bit of guava. Behind the hoppy assault are smooth notes of the base maltiness that provides a pleasing body to the experience. Solid offering.
