Bottle shared at home with Gabor Gábor. Pours deep mahogany/chestnut colour with afinger wide, quickly disappearing off-white head. Nose is big malty and boozy sweetness, grains, whiskey, spicy alltogether. Intense. Taste is boozy, sweet, there's whiskey, some chocolate, light dried fruits, a spicy touch. Closes with a long lasting, intense and sweet finish, has a huge and rich, creamy body and soft carbonation. Lovely, one of my favourites from the annual releases.

From midovark: pours dark brown with beige head. Very strong whiskey aroma, including wood, vanilla, and booze. It is less vanilla focused than a bourbon barrel aged beer and sort of more boozy as the sweetness does not cut through as much. Still a solid beer though.
