Bottle from Trinkgut. Color: Clear copper, beige head. Aroma: Malty, caramel. Taste: Caramel, candy sugar notes, dark malt, hints of roasted malt. Earthy notes, hints of nuts. Grassy hop backbone. Medium body, just below average carbonation. A little too much carbonation for this style, in my opinion. Not exactly like an original Alt style either. Mwah, I've had far better Alt beer.

Brown colour, clear, frothy head that stays for a while. Aroma is lots of nuts, roasted. Light bitterness. Sticky texture, light body, medium carbonation. Good.

Just a bit of metal in the aroma. Malty flavor with hints of butterscotch and metal (in the aftertaste). Mediocre alt, with no outstanding virtues.

Helder bruin bier met schuim. Smaak is licht bitter en licht zoet met iets van karamel, gebakken brood en houttonen. Is helaas wat waterig en dun in de mond.

Shared bottle at home. Pours clear dark copper with off-white head. Aroma of caramel, bread, grains, raisins. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Thin to medium bodied.

Clear amber brown colour, small frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma roasted malts, caramel, brown sugar. Taste light heavy sweet and medium bitter, roasted malts, caramel, bread, hint burnt sugar. Sweetbitter aftertaste, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, on the sweet side for an Alt, decent though.

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from 'EDEKA Preller' (Breckerfeld), best before June 2018. Clear, deep brownish red with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly malty and a bit grassy-spicy aroma of caramel, some raisins and traces of straw. Quite sweet, malty, slightly fruity and a little grassy-spicy taste of caramel, some raisins, bread and some straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little grassy-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad at all!

50 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Trinkgut, Emmerich. Clear dark amber with a thin off-white head. Malty caramel aroma. Sweet taste. Thin body. Bit too bland for me, no real depth or earthiness.
