Two years old. Tasted at the bokbierfestival Oldenzaal. No head at all. Sweetish beer. Porto, raisin, licorice and roasted malt. Served very cold, but after warming up tastes and aroma''s develop further.

Backlog somewhere from the nineties. Caramel brown, good creamy light brown head, vanishes slowly. Sweet malty nose, toasted bread, herbs, some chocolate. Medium sweet roasty taste, medium to full bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Bittersweet finish. A pity they don’t brew it anymore.

Botlle 2001, at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, go for it they may have more botles hidden away in the cellar!!!!!!!!! Fantastic beer. Creamy light brown good mostly lasting head. Deep dark amber colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma with powerfull roasted/toasted notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Long powerfull finish. Strong notes of roasted bread. Creamym palate. Fantastic beer.
