Pours a hazy, golden orange-pineapple, with smallish head. Aroma is juicy tropical fruit, some citrus. Flavor is tropical fruit and bubble gum, with a light underlying sweetness giving way to slight bitterness in the finish. Soft mouthfeel.

Canned 9/29/22, drunk 10/19/22. Pours a turbid maize-bronze with a staunch, butter-colored head. Rich, juicy, lush mango in the nose rises up nicely, very aromatic and intense. Little/no edge, but some light citrus acidity and slight cracker/biscuit from the malt. No alcohol/flaw/resin/pine/artificiality. Even the guava puree, which I've often found highly acidic, seems rather mild and vague here. But that mango.... Oddly enough, there's lots of guava up front, giving juicy but also acidic notes that work against the rich maltiness, balancing easily as it transitions to mango and citrus juiciness. Short-lived malt sweetness returns to a more guava and hop acidity on the finish. Deep, sumptuously-soft malts and no flaw or alcohol. Still not 100% sold on that guava, though it's pretty good here relative to some other renditions. But everything else picks up the slack, especially the malt balance/attenuation and the mango expression.

This bird suspiciously sat on this fence post for about twenty minutes yesterday. Watching my every move. Damn government surveillance drones!

In this week's episode of Let's Bastardize A Nice Beer, KJ with mango and guava puree. Fruity, sweet, a bit tart. Mango and guava, tropical fruit, some fruit candy. Dries up towards the finish, actually pretty decent. Best of these so far.
