Bottle. Deep amber with a thin head. Aroma of chocolate malt and nut. Flavour is toasted, crumbly chocolate with a roast background, dry bitterness on the palate

Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and very nutty. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 101211

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours cloudy red amber with a small and stable creamy white head. Nose is yeast and caramel with a bit of tart fruit. Yeasty flavor with a grassy hoppy note a bit of bread , fruit and caramel. Quite hoppy dunkel. Medium and smooth body.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and deep golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is Dark malty and slight roasted note. Dry and malty flavoured. Roasted finish. Lingering malty and roasted flavoured into the far finish. Ends dry.

Bottle, 4.7%. Dusty aroma, slightly vinous. Hazy amber colour, small floaties. Almost a year past BB date. The flavour is slightly caramelly. Mild bitterness, a bit rough, but tolerable.

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, mild nuttyness as well as some slight easrthy and metallic notes. Flavour is nutty, sweet malty as well as mildly metallic. Also gets quite bready notes as it warms up.

Bottled swing top (BB 08/2009). Amber color, steady medium-sized creamy off-white head. Mouldy, caramelly aroma. Caramelly, grassy hoppy, a bit toasted sugars. Dry finish, as well as watery. Nothing to drink twice.

(Bottle) Amber and clear. Medium sized, fizzy and lightly tan coloured head. Strongly malts, fresh malts and molasses in aroma. Medium to full bodied and quite dry palate with medium carbonation. Malts, molasses, fresh malts, caramell, medium roastedness, lightly chocolate and bitterness in taste. Malty and bitter aftertaste.

bottle, traded with Frankenland. Clear brown colour, large head. Aroma of roasetd malt. Flavours of malt, roasetd malt, bitte chocolate, cocoa powder and caramel. Quite hoppy for a Dunkel. A very nice and a bit unusual example.
