Is this green fluid a decent beer? Not really. Aroma has some artififcial lemon and mint. Pilsener-like flavor with added lemon essence. Some distant bitterness. I don’t like it.

Commissioned ale and one of very few really green beers I’ve had so far. Effectively grass green, like some vegetable juice, with loose, pale head with faintly greenish hue. Grainy aroma with lime, grass and plastic-like solvents as well as herbal hops; taste a bit fruity, bit thin, with a long, peppery hop finish but also phenolic, completely out of balance. Points for originality but I do not understand its taste.

Bottle. Ugly, grainy aroma. Almost clear, very green colour. Small light green head. Grainy taste, a little sweet. Chemical/plastic aftertaste.

Very clear, pale green with just a touch of yellow-amber shine; greenish tinted head. Faint lime-like nose, citrussy, tad grassy, not unlike some (alternative?) beauty-product. Awful mix of slightly sweet, lemonflavour, bitter, grain, alcohol, all clashing à go-go. There’s nothing wholesome about it - glimpses of everything and utter unbalance. Rather light bodied, with soapy feeling. Overall comment: utterly disgusting.

Clear yellow-green color, thick greenish head. Aroma is sweet, hint of vegetable maybe, bit hoppy and spicy. Triple style taste indeed, some spices and wheat, bit yeasty and dry. Except for the green color, this beer is not too bad.

This is a new Belgian beer, from a new brewery available at the Bornem Beerfestival (I got a sample from the brewer of the Angerik). As the name of the brewery and the beer indicates, this is a green beer, not just a green shine, but a green beer (yes, it is quite astonishing when you first take a glimpse of it).It has a huge white head, with good lace. Hoppy and yeasty aromas and a lightly bitter initial flavour. Tastes like a strong pilsener.
