Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Opaque dark brown body with a thin beige head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of coffee, caramel and raisin. Flavour of treacle, coffee and a hint of coconut. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. It’s restrained rather than mega hoppy - overall it’s a decent Black IPA.

440ml can. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of coconut, chocolate, tropical fruits. Taste hoppy, fruity, citrus, resin, coconut, chocolate, mild roast, moderate bitterness. Medium bodied. A well balanced BIPA. Interestingly no mention of coconut in the ingredients, they didn't use Sabro hops for coconut did they? If so that would be even more impressive!

Can at home 21st March 2021. Pours a nice looking black beer. Aroma is dark chocolate and cocoa, with light coconut and citrus. Taste is smooth, bitter chocolate and cocoa, hints of coconut, well integrated, light citrus. It’s good
