Can from Tick Beer. Appearance - deep brown with a light orange chink near the bottom. Tan head. Nose - orange on the IPA side, actually not a huge amount on the chocolate side. Taste - orange and coconut, caramel or spun sugar but not chocolate really at all. Palate - medium bodied, dry bitterish finish. Overall - good but very much on the IPA rather than stout side.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from All Good Beer. Pours clear brown with a creamy, khaki head. Medium sweet with nice toasted brown bread notes, light pine, orange rind, subtle creamy coconut, mild chocolatey roast. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Nicely rounded finish, a little toasted coconut, bittersweet cocoa, pleasant restrained piney bitterness, citrusy accents. Subtle and really nice overall. Massively drinkable.

Can ordered from Vittles & Company, Hull. Aroma had combines dark berries and citrus. Pine and a hint of coconut. A dark murky brown. Thin creamy beige head soon recedes. Medium bitter with a sour edge. Pine, spice, stonefruit, dark berries. But coconut? Not obviously. Vague hints. Medium bodied. Creamy. Flat carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Bitter and certainly also had tropical fruitiness. But the coconut is an afterthought at most.
