From bottle. Pale malts and straw, hay, light caramel and dry citrus. Malty sweetness, mild dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, mild dry sweet finish. Good Dortmunder Export.

Firm and lasting foamy head. Slightly soapy, just a bit malty aroma. Medium to full bodied. Just a bit of bitterness maybe, but on top ofg that an almost buttery maltiness. Some orange in the background.

Bottle. Clear gold/yellow with a decent white head. Mild aroma of grains, straw, malts and noble hops. Taste follows aroma. Malty, grainy, slightly sweet and spicy. Low on hops. Medium to strong carbonation. This is not the world's most sophisticated beer but then again which Export is? It's just a nice sessionable beer. Ok.
