Can on the train to Inverness, thanks to Nick, 09/10/21. Very lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent white cap. Nose is orange zest, grass, hedgerow, melon. Taste comprises orange zest, a touch mineral heavy, melon, toasted malts, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with modest hop bitterness. A rather basic affair but sipped OK.

Can from Strong Water. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw and lemon. Flavour of lemon and pine. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. There’s not much to it, and at 4.2% ABV it’s too light to be an IPA, but what’s there is fine.
