2/2/2024. Cask at the 14th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours clear bright pale gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, floral, caramel, slightly soapy and buttery. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, touch tart. Moderate body, slightly watery, average to soft carbonation. Drying finish. Not bad.

Cask at Flowerpot, Derby. Pours a very pale straw with minimal white head and good lacing. Some malts and general citrus in the aroma. Citrus is also the mainstay in the mouth, but not overwhelmingly so. Grapefruit and lemon with hints of caramel lurking underneath. Finish is citrus yet again. It’s OK, but a bit boring.
