(bottle, with thanks to pivnizub; 1 week before the BB-date) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a fluffy foamy white head. Malty and slightly bready aroma with a lemon-like fruitiness and spicy hops. Slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Slightly buttery malty taste with honey-/lemon-fruity notes; dry and moderately bitter finish with spicy and herbal hops.

Bottle (bought at Pivni Galerie, Praha): Deep golden coloured, small lacing fluffy head; shy sweet-malty nose with a light herbal hoppy touch; medium bodied, shy bitter-sweet flavour; short bitter-seet-bready finish. O.K., but not very impressive.........

Bottle purchased in Prague, best by date of 30/04/06. This is a full bodied pils that is still in good shape after a few weeks past its best-by date. Dark gold, large white head. Crisp and clean with some hops in the aroma and flavor. Some notes of wood and pleasant herbal qualities as well.

Deep golden colour. Frothy head. Fruity pine apple aroma. Complex but unbalanced flavour; salty liquorice, birch sap and hop bitteness.

Deep golden with rich head. Some oily saaz aroma. Medium bodied, medium sweet, featuring a nice butterscotchy flavour and a sweet and bitter finish. More flavourful and complex then you'd thought a pilsener could get.
