Cask, third pint. @CAMRA GBBF Winter Festival 2023, Burton-On-Trent (UK). 17/02/2023 [#5.871 Global - #648 England - #1 Whim Ales (My English brewery #213)] Pours golden with a small head. Aroma: wood barrels, raisins and grainy malts. Taste: grainy malts and sugar. Sweet mouthfeel. Next one please!

Gravity cask at the GBBF Winter 2023 Festival, day 2 at Burton On Trent Town Hall, 17/02/23. Golden orange with a white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is sugars, caramel, hint of stoned fruits, floral whisper. Taste comprises stewed fruits, toasted sugars, caramel, raisins, prunes, bread pudding. Medium bodied with bite, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced nip of alcohol. Solid cask barley wine.

Cask pour at the GBBF Winter.Copper colored pour, cloudy sparse head. Aroma is malty and fruity, notes of apple and plums. Taste doesn't stray too far from the aroma, caramel malts, nutty, fruity all with a gentel sweetness.

Cask at the great British winter beer festival. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet, hanky fruits, apple, nutty malts,.. Flavour is composed of layered malts, nutty, jammy fruits. Nutty malts light toffee. Easy going. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, mellow cask condition. Good.
