Bottle from mien-biershop.de. Hazy dark colour, beige foam. Toasty, caramel, some raisins, malty, bready, light hoppy. Great Landbier.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass darker than exspected, nice head. Starts fine malty, roasty, mild sweetness. Hints of chocolate, some berries. Spicy-malty finish. Really nice!

Clear amber brown colour, large frothy beige head, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Aroma is malty, caramel, dough, raisin, nutty notes, some basement. Taste is medium sweet and bitter, malty, fruity, some sulphur. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste is mild sweetbitter, light roast, sulphur notes and a bit acidness in the finish. All in all a bit thin and - so it seems - slightly infected.

Bottle from Landbierparadeis. Orange tints in dark brown, clear. rich, fruity nose, malty, raisins, berry, apple, caramel. Very rich, interesting nose. Big, malty flavor, not too sweet, chocolate, raisins and prunes. A nice rich dunkles landbier.

Ordentliches Landbier, kerniger Charakter, fast ein Kellerbier. Herb würzig im Abgang.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines and drunk at home. Clear dark brown cola coloured lasting thin beige head. Brown malty aroma. OK malty lager. It’s fine. Clean, tasty, some spicy hop. Fine.

0,5 l bottle from local dursty. Clear, dark amber with sticky, stable tan head. Beautiful! Weak smokey, malty aroma. Really nice, slightly smokey taste of roasted malts, burnt caramel, bread and grains. Good! Medium body, average carbonation, almost creamy mothfeel, crisp bitter finish. This is a really nice landbier. It reminds me a bit of Schlenkerla Märzen. Although it is not that good, it is a nice surprise between all the boring examples of that style.
