Cask at Stroud Brewery. Not entirely sure what this is supposed to be as the style was given as smokey liquorice. Mostly clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is certainly smoky, meaty (ham). Taste is the same, smoked ham, there was a hint of liquorice I suppose, sweet malts, hoppy bitterness. Very thin and watery. Clearly an experimental brew, not sure it works.
