Sampled at the brewery. Lighter and dryer than Guinness, but with an outspoken hopbitterness

Backlog 2019. Tap poured into a pint glass @pub Dublin. Deep dark brown colour, good creamy tan head, good retention and lacing. Aroma roasted malts, cocoa, strong coffee, light spicy notes. Smooth taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, chocolate, coffee, light spicy notes. Medium body oily to creamy texture, average carbonation, smooth dry sweetbitter aftertaste, very nice.
