Bottled. Golden colour and nice white head. Vegetables in aroma. Hoppy fruity flavour with vegetably notes. Pretty "light" IPA, but refreshing at the same time.

Bottled. Deep golden. Light grapefruit aroma. Papery with clean, hard malt caharcter and inky finish with medium bitterness. Simplistic.

[Cask at GBBF 2004] An orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet hoppy while the flavor is very hoppy combined with notes of oranges and hop oils leading to a bitter end.

Yellow fizzy ale with white head, which laced the glass nicely. Light malty aroma with barely any hops. Malty beer, almost like a lager or a Keith’s, very crisp, but without any of the expected hops. Oily mouthfeel. Bottle.CNY Brewfest Feb. 5 2005.

Aroma is fruit, hops, and acid. Light orange with a small head. Flavors of fruit, then bitter hops, a pilsner like taste, then a sourdough bread aftertaste. Enjoyable.

I have not had a whole lot of experience with this brewer. This was my first try of their IPA. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium amber color with a small white fluffy head that faded quickly. The aroma was lightly malty and had a piney hop scent. The flavor was mostly piney hops with a light malt body behind it. There was a sharp hop bite on the finish.

Pours yellow almost like a lager. Small aroma of hops. Flavor is also a very small amount of hops. Nothing to this brew. Not a really flavorful IPA at all, in fact SNPA is more hoppy. Vey poor.

BottlePours a deep golden yellow with a nice bright white head leaving some modest lacing. Aroma is a bit fruity, apples maybe, don’t detect much hops here yet. A bit of a bite on the toungue, hoppy but not much for an IPA. Some unusual flavors. A bit sweet, floral, and quite mild all around. Finish is clean, thin, and a lingering pucker. Not bad. Not great.

Paid $1.09 for a single 12-oz bottle. Wow, not overly impressed here in appearance. Very plain light amber with a small head. PLEASE, everything else make up for it. Well, scent is a little better. Not much. Slightly grapefruitty, slightly that IPA scent I look for, but it's weak... a toss up between 3 and 3.5 This is no IPA... let me repeat, this is no IPA. At best this is an ESB that went on strike. This is bitter with no other flavor whatsoever. I'm giving this a 1 because it's the poorest excuse for an IPA I have EVER had. I will never drink this again. Who are they trying to fool here? What were they trying to accomplish? Was it crap in a glass? If so, they've succeeded.

I was a little disappointed in htis beer. Color started a little weak as was the head. The flavor was out of balance and the body was thin as well. Not impressive.
