We also used a technique called mash hopping to gain a more complex flavour profile with a huge addition of freshly picked UK Ernest & UK Cascade added late in the boil, alongside a generous dry hop UK Chinook & UK Cascade to create a beer with a citrusy, floral aroma all backed up with a piney bitterness and slight spicy, grassy notes from the fresh hops.

Can at the inlaws, picked up from Bottleneck, Broadstairs, 18/03/23. Murky orange with a big ole lasting frothy white cap. Nose is tangerine, grass, light floral notes, airy malts, papaya, melon. Taste comprises tangerine, citric tinged straw, light perfume, grass, mandarin, toasted malts, bitter orange, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced light juicy hop bitterness. Decent well balanced IPA.

440ml can. Hazy golden, white head. Aroma of pine and fresh citrus fruits. Taste is very piney, a bit floral/herbal, fresh citrus fruit, assertive bitterness. Medium bodied. These English hopped IPAs are getting much better.
