Bottle. Clear gold with a decent white head. Aroma and taste of grains, some malts and straw. Low to moderate grainy bitterness. Medium carbonation. Light-bodied and very süffig. It simply is what it is and gets it’s job done in due form. I‘ll add one little bonus point for the label design.

0,33 l bottle with a good looking simple label art. Clear golden in the glass, small head, low CO2. Low grainy in the nose. Strats more like a thinner Helles, later a little bit hop, little bit grain, nothing unusual. A typical nice Lager. (13. April 2012)

Northern German ’Münchener’ helles from the town of Steinfurt (in a region where nearly every town has its own lager brewery). Dense, mousse-like, creamy, fairly thick, snow white head, colour a pure and cristal clear golden blonde with fine sparkling. Malty aroma with honeyish and a bit cheesy accent, some popcorn, floral hops reminiscent of sage and chamomille. Neutral onset with a sharp carbonation, then turning into a nearly sweetish graininess, mineral water, finishing only lightly and briefly hoppy without ever turning really bitter - one of the main features distinguishing a helles from a Pilsener in modern-day German lagers, I guess. But decent, refreshing and thirst-quenching it certainly is.

Mild herber Beginn. Schnell wird das Bier aber trocken metallern, die Aromen sind fad. Dies ändert sich bis zum Ende nicht. Langweilig! 10/7/9/4/8/4

Bottle looks nice. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, modest dry, more and more soapy-malty. Modest wheaty. Finish a bit unbalanced, still dry. Not my favourite, but okay.
