Draught as "Sir Alex", smallish head, clear pale gold colour, light herbal hoppiness with touches of fruit, spice and honey, sweet honey flavour with some toasty malt and a medium bitterness, just a touch too coarse. Quite drinkable but nothing special.

Draught sample at the 1st Israeli Beer Exhibition in Tel Aviv. As "Sir Alex" (???). Clear pale golden with a white head. Aroma of slightly husky graininess, a bit of hay and bready notes. A rather grainy flavor with bread and a drier finish. Light-medium-bodied.

Bottle, 4.9%. Good clean malty aroma. Clear golden colour. Semi-stable white head. The flavour is nicely malty with a slightly rough bitterness. But clean and good.

Bottle: Pale golden colour, medium-sized white foam, lacing; malty, fruity(citrus) nose, light floral hoppiness; light sweetish fruity and malty taste, that lasts to the soft, slightly bitter finish; quite well rounded, refreshing.

(bottle) Golden colour with a big but fast diminishing foamy white head. Nice aroma of floral hops and citrus fruits. Flavour and taste are rather bland. Sweet and malty taste with a faint hoppiness in the finish. Light bodied, soft carbonation. All in all OK.

Yellowish gold, all clear; little or no head. Chalk and crystal malt, herbal nose. Taste gives cookies, grain and some faint German hops, herbal. If it weren't for the Reinheitsgebot, I'd say corn. Much better bodied than a 'lager' usually is thought of. If "lager" would have been invented in Germany, well, the "style" would be better.

Light flowery hop aroma. Pale golden, nice white head, low carbonation. Very slight butterscotch malt with a ok flowery hop profile on top. Lightish body. Not great but pleasant.
