Chocolate malt, Roasted Barley and Midnight Wheat give the stout its rich coffee and dark chocolate notes. Rolled oats provide a velvety smooth mouthfeel and rounded body. Columbus hops are added to balance these robust flavors.

12 oz bottle I picked up at the brewery when I visited on Nov 21st, 2015 while in Nassau on a cruise. With no WiFi I didnโt enter the beers or place rating until now, the notes languishing in my phoneโs memory. Taster at the brewery and the bottle consumed at the Pirates dress up dinner that night. Nose is molasses and chocolate with a hint of char. Black with a small tan head. Flavor is lightly bitter with lots of molasses.

Bottle picked up during a cruise visit to Nassau, Bahamas and shared at the 3rd Ipswich bottle share. Pours black with a good sized off white head. Aroma is malty, fruity, chocolate. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Full bodied and very thick texture. Soft carbonation. Slightly dry, lasting chocolate finish. Possibly the best Bahaman beer?

Bottle, because Homer truly cares. Pours black, small tan head, dissipates pretty quickly with good lacing. Aroma is deep roasty, some coffee grounds indeed, sorghum (how the hell do you spell that anyway), molasses. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, roast and sorghum, hints of root beer and burned malts, coffee grounds. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel, lingering bitterness.
