Malty and hoppy aroma. Thiun bodied. Bit of tartness in the taste. Citrus, wood and caramel. Slight hopbitter finish with a hint of sourness. A bit skunky.

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours dark amber with a frothy creamy white head. Nose is grass, grain and caramel. Medium bodies. Sweet malty flavor with a mild grassy hoppyness. Medium bodied. Decent.

Dark nut brown color, small steady beige head. Strong, strong aroma of toffee and diacetyl. Medium-bodied. Flavor has also diacetyl but it is not sweet brew. Some caramel, bready malts, balsamico. Strange dark kellerbier.

Bottled. Ambery brown colour with mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is bigtime diacetyl along with toffee and sweet malts. Flavour is dry wood, some sweet malts, diacetyl as well as some slight bitterness.

Swing-top bottle. Sweet molasses malt aroma. Dark brown color with large head and nice lacing. Sweet molasses malt flavor with a metallic aftertaste. Unique - a dark and pretty sweet Kellerbier - just wish it had more flavor.

Bottle 50cl. w. swing top.Clear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091004]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear, warm orangey brown with a firm off-white head leaving some laces. Sweet aroma oc roasted malt and caramel. Medium body, roasted malts and a little nuttiness - a whiff of metal also. Little bitterness but some alcohol shining through. 041009

Bottle, 5.2%. Clear dark brown colour. Small stable head. Mild flavour with low bitterness. A little maltiness and brown sugar to the flavour. Mild carbonation. A quite mild beer, but very pleasant.

(swing top bottle) Slightly hazy, mahogany colour with a small eggshell-coloured layer. Sweet malty, bready nose with dark berries and dust. Light bitter flavour with a shy fruitiness, light to medium body, soft carbonation. Soft, malt-accented mouthfeel, light notes of caramel, faint honeyish fruits and dried ones in the aftertaste, accompanied with traces of metal. Still solid.
