Hanahomen er ein klassisk ufiltrert pils med ein liten VB vri, tørrhumla med amerikansk humle. Eit gamalt segn fortel om den stoltaste og yraste hanen i Preste- garden ved Vinjevatn. Då han til slutt endte sine dagar på hoggestabben, flaksa han så fælt at han letta. Hovudlaus segla han til han landa på ein liten holme ein km avgarde. Der var det heile over. Ro vyrdsamt forbi når du ferdast her på Vinjevatn.

Navnet var først "Hanahome" (2018)

Lys gul lett tåkete med hvitt skum. Lukter lyst brød, honning og smør. Lett. Noe bitterhet. Smaker sitrus, lys karamell og smør. Kort.

Bortimot klar lys brun med hvitt skum. Lukter malt og honning. Lett med smak av malt, noe urter.

500 ml bottle, as Vinje Hanahomen Pils, from Nærbutikken, Åkrafjordtunet. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, large white head. Aroma of yeast and pilsener malts, some floral notes. Fizzy and citric mouthfeel. Yeasty flavour with fairly distinct bittering hops in the finish.

GYG 180519. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is hop, yeast. Flavor is dry, hop, yeast, grass, bread, fruit, pine. Ordinary beer.

Bottle. It's a clear pale golden colored beer with a dense two-finger white head. Some lacing. Sweetish-fruity aroma with grass, pine cones and a touch of bready malts. It's medium bodied, semi-dry and with a rather soft carbonation. Fruity flavor too, with a bit too much sweetness, and pine cones and grass in the back. Fruity, a bit too sweet finish with a decent bitterness. Not the most pilsner-ish beer I've had, but it's a decent drink anyway. 190518

Mama mia. Beware when you open this. Poooof it almost reached the roof. Gusher o hoi mate. The remaining beer was a bit hazed golden. Quite moderate intensity in the aroma. Not really hoppy as they claim. Rich carbonation level, but calmed down after a while. Possible to drink the remaining beer. Quite fruity this one. Also quite malty. Claimed to be dry hopped. Nothing I noticed to much. Could have been ok with a decent carbonation level.
