A clear dark golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mild caramelized malt, honey, herbs. Taste of honey, caramel, sweet strong dark malt.

Süßer, kräutrig-karamelliger Antrunk. Geringe Herbe, die Süße steigt an, unsüffig. Muss nicht sein. 9/5/6/6/7/6

330 ml bottle. Pours a dark mahogany color with full head. Aromas of bready malts, dark berries and a bit of earthy Belgian yeast. Flavors of bready malts, sweet dark fruit, dark berries and just a hint of Belgian yeast. Seems more of a fruity dubbel, but still quite nice.

Bruin bier, wat vrij uitzonderlijk is voor een tripel, met schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet en kruidig met iets van anijs en drop. Heeft meer weg van een dubbel dan een tripel wat mij betreft. Desondanks een heel goed bier.

Receding yellow head; amber to chestnut coloured beer. Rainwater, bitter almonds, autumn leaves, and a whiff of orangepeel. Not very imposing nose. Sweet-bitterish. Again bitter (retronasal) AND sweet (upfront) almonds flavour, rosewater, just a tad leafy. Medium bodied at best, quite slick. Long lasting sweet flavour. Too sweet by half. Getting it drier, a tad more hoppy, would hugely benefit this beer.
