Black beer with a tan head. Aroma of sweet strong dark roasted malt, coffee, apricot. Taste of strong roasted dark malt, coffee, chocolate, apricot, some wood, tobacco. Slightly boozy.

Donkerbruin bier met lichtbruin schuim. Smaak is vrij bitter en licht fruitig met een klein zuurtje. Ik vind dit persoonlijk een wat minder geslaagde versie.

Draught Small if stable cream-tan head over jet-black beer. Boozy, whisky. Big roast & sweet liquorice. Roast, burnt, not smoked. Again rather sweet; all bitterness hails from the roastiness. Gives again a boozy, whisky-ish impression. Finish has some charcoal. Well bodied, but not really thick. Good carbonation. Quite OK, but missing real 'fireworks'.
