"Dompfaff" aus der Ziegenhainer Hausbrauerei, Fläschchen vom berüchtigten linken Späti in der Jenaer Westbahnhofstraße, 13.7.2025. - Goldbraun, schwach trüb. - Wenig überzeugende, kaum pilstypische Nase. - Antrunk drahtig schlank hellmalzig mit zarter Vanillesüße und aromatischer, trocken zitronenschaliger Hopfenherbe mit leiser Tabaknote. Durchschnittlich rezent, leicht trocken. Im Abgang schlanke Hopfenherbe. - Anders als das mißratene "Casual" Helle ein Bier, das die Erwartungen an seine Biersorte respektiert, sie aber auf individuelle und durchaus überzeugende Weise erfüllt. Herber, kernig getreidiger Beginn. Angenehme Bitterkeit, süffig, zunehmend nussig-hopfig. Würzig, die Bitterkeit bleibt stark, Heu, langer hopfig-bitterer Abgang. Gut! 9/11/11/9/9/11

And again a 0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! BB 01. Nov. 2023. loudy golden in the glass, with a nearly two finger white foamy head. Grainy and straw on the nose, some caramel and citrus. Taste starts with bitterhop, grainy, straw, dry. Malt in the second row. Grainy bitterhop in the aftertaste.

Clear golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of pale malt, straw, some flowers. Taste of mild grainy malt, straw, moderate spicy bitterness.

Bottle from the brewery. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Fresh hoppy-spicy aroma. Starts mild but not washy, fine malty, spicy, mild sweetish notes. Hints of butter cookies. More and more fresh hoppy notes, mild bitterness in the background. Finish well balanced. Nice!
