MBCC 2023. Cloudy dark golden with a lasting white head. Fruity and spicy aroma with anise and licorice. Dry, tart and spicy flavour

On tap at MBCC 2023, pours a cloudy blonde with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out tart citrus and wheaty notes. Flavour is tart and wheat, with a nice buggy, wheat character, along with citrus. Nicely made.

MBCC. Hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, wheaty, light tart and fennel. Flavor is medium sweet and light acidic. Sweet and light acidic finish. 060523

Tap. Hazy golden color with tiny white ring. Aroma is anis and fennel indeed, wheat, fresh green apple funk. Taste is the same, lot of anise and fennel, but not too perfumey, the tartness of the beer with the wheat & yoghurt character balances it. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nothing wrong with this, but it's not my favourite choice of spice.
