0.75 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, best before November 2024. Minimally hazy, copper with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, a little sourish, gently fruity, a bit vinous aroma of molasses, vanilla, rum, whisky, sultanas, orange peel and coconut. Rather sweet, a little sourish, malty, gently fruity, a bit smoky-medicinal taste of caramel, vanilla, rum, whisky with a touch of peat, sultanas and light coconut, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally tart and a bit woody-dry finish. Medium body, minimally astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Lovely aromas stream out of the glass, the expectations became immense, the taste can't really live up to that though.
