Keg at the Braugier taproom, Ostkreuz, 23/07/23. Almost clear golden to copper with a light beige cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is smoked malts, dried fruit rinds, burnt toffee, grains. Taste comprises toffee, dried fruits, bonfire notes, charr, light chilli heat but wrapped up in the smoke. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid stuff.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is meaty and smoked. Mild sour note. Toasted malty. Smoked and meaty. Lingering smoked and malty finish. Chili peppery far finish.
