Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is piney and fruity hop with citrus, pine resin, sweet orange, malt, ripe-ish fruit, some tropical notes. Long bittersweet finish with pine and orange. Medium body. Firm, classic, bitter, piney. Dextrose-heads will not appreciate this.

Christianssand Brygghus 180424. Deep golden-orange color with an off-white head. Aroma is pine, grapefruit, malt, alcohol. Flavor is pine, grapefruit, malt, alcohol, spices, caramel, bread, citrus, oranges. Easy drinkable beer.

Bottle, at Christiansand Brygghus. An almost clear one, dark golden in color and topped by a small off-white head. Some lacing. The aroma is piney, resiny and perfumed, with a gentle maltyness and a touch of alcohol. Spiced hints too. It's full bodied and nicely carbonated, with a light warmth. Perhaps a bit too gentle on the bitterness, considering the sweetness level. Pine cones, grapefruit, some spiced hints and a good maltyness in the flavor. Caramel, bread. Medium length finish. A decent one indeed, but a bit gentle. 240418

Süffiger, dunkel hopfiger Beginn. Milde Süße, grasig-herb, deutliche Bitterkeit, spritzig. Dunkler, leicht malziger Mittelteil, deutlicher Hopfen, rund. Spritzig bleibend, harzig hopfig, langer bitterer Abgang. Gut! 10/11/12/11/12/11

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Clear dark golden with a white head. Sweet malty aroma with tropical fruits, peach and orange. Sweet taste with a medium bitter finish. Nice strong quite old-fashioned DIPA.

Slightly hazy amber beer with a big off white head. Aroma of oranges, mild grapefruit, tangerine. Taste of oranges, gently resinous hops, pine, long bitter finish.

Mi2 juleavslutning, Cardinal des-23: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Saftig og lettdrikkelig med mye av det forventede innen citrus og tropiske frukter. Bær, furunål/kvae i tillegg. Fin bitterhet og god virkning på førjulsstemningen rundt bordet. Fra 0,33 flaske.
