Pöyhittiin reseptivihkoa; kilo sinne, minuutti tänne ja litra tuonne. Celsiuksiakin räplättiin.
Nostettiin framille Suomessa vähemmän tunnettu, uusinta (IPA)trendiä edustava east coast IPA. Tämä Vermontin osavaltiosta lähtöisin oleva moderni tyylilaji on hedelmämehuisen samea, pehmoinen ja raikas.
Maineemme vaalimiseksi lisäsimme toki katkeropotkun, jotta luulot pysyy poissa.
Emme ole kallellaan Tiibetin ylängölle päin eikä olut ole jakinmaitoa.
Mitä tekemistä Vermontilla ja Himalajalla sitten on keskenään? Ei kait mitään mutta jos puretaan sanaa vähän:
Vermont tarkoittaa vihreää vuorta. Kierossa mielissä tietenkin humalan peittämä vuori? Thus -> Humalaja.
Ei me muutakaan keksitty. "Muutenkin v*****i".
Älä sano mitään.

From tap. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a small white head. Peachy and slight citrusy hoppy. Bitter, fruity and crisp hoppy. Bitter and lingering hoppy fruity. Light greasy and herbal hoppy finish.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing a white head. The aroma has notes of straw, petroleum, and lemons. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, straw, lemons, and petroleum, leading to a bitter finish.

A quite murky and orange beer, a head is almost medium and blond. Aroma has pine and tropical fruitness, also herbs. Taste has smooth tropical fruitness, then herbs and pine. Bitterness is not hitting hard but the profile is slowly and nicely. Smooth and nice palate. More fruitness would be better. Anyway, balanced beer.

Slightly hazy orange color, medium-sized white head and lace, floating yeast particles. Piney, citrusy nose with some tropical fruityness. Medium-bodied. Tropical fruity backbone and then aggressive grapefruity hoppyness with resin and pine. Long lingering aftertaste. Hoppy it is but slightly dissapointing, maybe after few months not as sharp as it should? And Vermont IPA this is not, but ok modern IPA.

(Keg at Sori Taproom, 20170212) The beer poured golden and lightly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, peach and tangerine. Palate was medium bodied with rather high carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, pine, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, bitter and it lasted long. A pleasant balanced hoppy pale ale.

33cl bottle from Alko. Bbe 4.10.2017. Poured slightly hazy golden color with a thick white head. Aroma has grapefruit, pine, light herbs in aroma. Inviting. Flavor has citrusy hops, tangerine, pine, strong bitterness, mouthdrying finish. Great drinkability. Nice.

Draught @ One Pint Pub. Pours orange with a smooth head. Aroma of juicy fruits, tropical notes, citrus, pine, resin and grass. Taste is smooth, sweetish and fruity with some juicy notes, citrus, pine, herbal grass and grapefruit. Finish is bitter, juicy fruity, hoppy and citrusy with some pine, herbal hops and grapefruit. Pretty nice fruity IPA, but perhaps a bit too clean and grassy bitter for a proper NE style IPA. Re-rated from a bottle from Alko. Batch #65, BBE 08.03.18. Fresh hoppy and lingering bitter. One of the best Finnish IPAs so far.
