Vermont IPA
Pöyhittiin reseptivihkoa; kilo sinne, minuutti tänne ja litra tuonne. Celsiuksiakin räplättiin.
Nostettiin framille Suomessa vähemmän tunnettu, uusinta (IPA)trendiä edustava east coast IPA. Tämä Vermontin osavaltiosta lähtöisin oleva moderni tyylilaji on hedelmämehuisen samea, pehmoinen ja raikas.
Maineemme vaalimiseksi lisäsimme toki katkeropotkun, jotta luulot pysyy poissa.
Emme ole kallellaan Tiibetin ylängölle päin eikä olut ole jakinmaitoa.
Mitä tekemistä Vermontilla ja Himalajalla sitten on keskenään? Ei kait mitään mutta jos puretaan sanaa vähän:
Vermont tarkoittaa vihreää vuorta. Kierossa mielissä tietenkin humalan peittämä vuori? Thus -> Humalaja.
Ei me muutakaan keksitty. "Muutenkin v*****i".
Älä sano mitään.

Dark orange with full head. Orange and pine aroma. Mango and peach taste blending with good bitterness. Low malt body.

Hazy, orange beer with medium but quite quickly vanishing head. Aroma has tropical fruits and sweetness. Also some wooden flavors. Taste has tropical fruits and sweetness. Herbs and wood with a bit more bitter ending is in good balance, not going anywhere near too bitter feeling. Medium+ body, very nice first feeling with the brewery.

Bottle, BB 29.08.2018 (thanks mjs). Pours golden with whiteish head. The head stays. Aroma is fruits, citrus, grass, pineapple, tangerines. Flavor is sweet and bitter, citrus, tangerines, pineapple, grass. Finish is bitter and grassy. Overall: good hop juice.

On tap at Black Door, Helsinki. Hazy dark golden with a white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, some pine and light malt. The same in the taste, also some herbs. The body was medium as was the bitterness.

Tap at SOPP Hki 2017. Smell of hops, malt. Cloudy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of malt, hops, grain, spruce. Flat carbon. Bitter, dry palate.

Tap. Tasted on the 12/05/2017 at Inferno (Copenhagen). Last beer of a long day, so I was full deposit and wasted when I drinked this one. Hazy yellow colour. Aroma of spices, resin, floral and herbs. Taste is grass and herbal hops. Next one please!

Draft @ Inferno, Copenhagen. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty grassy citrus hoppy finish.

Tap@Ørsted Ølbar, Copenhagen - golden orange pour with white head. Sweet citrus and tropical fruity, some peach and grapefruit notes, splash of satsuma and lemon, pine needles, hoppy bitter finish. Pretty solid.
