Visited the Brewery Tap in Solana Beach on Tuesday 8th February 2022, they are still doing 3 x 3oz pours for $3.00 all Tuesday's. Even this Strong Ale (it's at 8.2% ABV now) was in the deal! Rich mahogany body, thin white, wispy head. Caramalts maybe? Anyway it's pretty sweet initially and the nose gives off caramel like esters. The hops do kick in, but this is a malty brew first and foremost.
