This beer is the culmination of a journey begun on our Stone World Bistro & Gardens - Liberty Station 10bbl brewhouse in San Diego, and has been a favorite of our brewers and fans ever since. For those unfamiliar with Hawaiian juice lore, P.O.G. stands for Passion, Orange, Guava. This “Born Again” version of Notorious P.O.G. was a collaboration from Liberty Station’s head brewer Kris Ketchum and Berlin’s very own Thomas Tyrell. Kris and Thomas played with using traditional Berliner Weisse cultures that introduces a fresh and citrusy evolution to this deliciously fruity Berliner Weisse.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Hazy and very pale yellow, large white head. Aroma of lactic acid, hints of passionfruit, oranges and guava. Sour and refreshing flavour, very citric, also plenty of lactic acid, hints of passionfruit and guava.

Murky yellow colour, small white head. Tart passion fruit aroma, a bit medicinal. Light-bodied. Tartness but also fruityness ... passionfruit, orange, maybe guava too, citrus and some spices. Not as tart as afraid. Tolerable fruity modern pseudo Berliner Weisse.

Keg at Muted Horn, Berlin, 11/07/19. Lightly hazed golden yellow with a white head. Nose is tangy passionfruit, citric tinged straw, damp hay, light pissoi. Taste comprises guava, balsa wood, damp straw, lemon drizzle, mango sorbet. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest pucker. Not bad.

Smak och doft av humle, citrus, lime, citron, apelsin, guava och passionsfrukt. Frisk, fruktig, lagom sötma. Multivitamindryck för sommarvärmen. Bra balas, hade dock velat ha lite mer klös i syrligheten och beskan. Uppfriskande och gott!
