Keg at the brewery. A jet black coloured pour with a a fading creamy tan head. Aroma is milky black malts, Salted caramel, dry roast some jammy fruits. Flavour is composed of creamy lactose. Sweet milky roast. Black malts, liquorice, jammy fruits. Cakey. Palate is semi sweet medium bodied, rounded, moderate carbonation. Like it.

17 August 2019. At Gents Bierfestival X. Cheers to Anke, Kevin & the crew! Hazy black, lasting, small, foamy, beige head. Aroma of fig, dates, biscuit, mocha, coffee liqueur, pistachio, walnut, wet earth. Taste is medium malty sweet, quite nutty & chocolatey with subtle dark fruits, bittersweet mocha into deep fondant, slightly umami, oats giving hints of brown bread. Dry, toasty, earthy hoppy finish, more chocolate & nuts and a good dash of warming coffee liqueur-like alcohol. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Rather toasty on the tongue, but solid anyway.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, tan head. Grainy, oaty, roasty dark malty and grassy vegetable aroma, hints of spelt, a touch of silage, coffee surrogate, chicory. Taste is dry, roasty, oaty, dark malty, grassy, hints of spelt and silage, overtones of coffee surrogate, chicory. Oily to viscous texture, smooth, soft, creamy palate. Quite strange.

Thuis uit een flesje. Bijna zwart, mooi bruin schuim. Prima aroma en smaak, goede beheersing van het zoet, licht bitter in de afdronk. Mooi voor deze dag, die hoewel half juli toch wat herfstig is. Uitstekend.

Many thanks for this beer to Dariusz Sokol. Piwo swietne, rozgrzewajace, idealnie pasuje na wieczor do chlodnego i deszczowego dnia. Owsiane mega, orkiszowe pieczywo posmarowane kremem czekoladowym, posypane kakaem i popite czarna kawa. Piwo jest mega kremowe z poczatku slodkawe potem wanilia, rozgrzanie alkoholowe i pozostajaca silna i trwala goryczka. Super. Piana ciemna spora ale srednio trwala, czarne geste. Polecam

Bottle from Monstermagnet. Pours very dark brown with beige, lasting head. Sweet liquorice, some tar, lightly smoked. Somewhat bitter coffee with a lasting bitter finish. A bit thin bodied and watery, but all in all pretty good.
